John Karpiscak, PhD. is a research scientist and author. As a space scientist, he began his career developing and having flown an earth observation experiment on STS-31. Since then, he has written numerous papers for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) about the growth and use of commercial space systems. He has also written extensively on the the subject of Virtual Teaming and Virtual Team trust, where he has lectured globally. His hobbies include watching and reading science fiction and (not surprisingly), horseback riding, so it’s no wonder that space and horses should meet in literary form.
